Welcome to the Board of Podiatry

The Board of Podiatry is an independent self-funded agency whose purpose is to protect the public by administering and enforcing the statutes and regulations concerning the practice of Podiatry.  It does this by granting licenses to qualified podiatrists so they may practice podiatric medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Some of it's other responsibilities include annual license renewal, monitoring continuing medical education requirements, handling complaints against podiatrists, and verifying the status of licenses for hospitals, insurance companies and credentialing agencies.

The Board meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, beginning with candidate interviews.
The next jurisprudence/ethics examination will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Rudd Heart and Lung Building, Great Halls III and IV, Top Floor, 201 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY, beginning at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

Name/Address Change Form

Use this Name/Address Change Form to submit a name or address change to the Board. Kentucky law requires that licensed podiatrists notify the Board of any change of address or change in practice location.


 

Application Deadline for April 16 Exam

The deadline for filing applications and all required documentation for the April 16, 2015 jurisprudence/ ethics exami-nation and informal Board interview is March16, 2015, with the exception of those who have not yet taken the NPBME Part III examination. Those candidates must have the FPMB submit their official Part III transcript as soon as it becomes available.
